In our situation, the install was already completely removed. So even the "Windows Clean Up Utility" wasn't an option, as the installer file was no where to be found on our system. However, I discovered the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, an Official Microsoft Product designed to remove the entries for these installer files from the Windows Installer database. After weeks without Java (because I was too stubborn to reinstall) I am finally back up to date. Tearing through the registry, the file system (App Data as well as Program Files), JavaRa, CCleaner, etc, all did approximately nothing to help, but one quick run through with this cleaner and I was running Java again in minutes. This solution, unfortunately, did not work for me.
