Unable To Access E-mail, With Outlook, Through Port 25, AT&T

After hours on the phone with AT&T techs, we’ve come to find that AT&T is blocking port 25. AT&T’s doing this in an effort to curb spam, and unsolicited Emails. If you’re having this issue, we recommend you call AT&T and have them unblock the port. Keep in mind that AT&T now has two divisions, U-Verse and DSL. Be sure to call the correct department.

    Just a helpful hint.

    ATT is no longer unblocking Port 25 for Regular users. If you need port 25 unblocked you have to upgrade to a business account.

    If you use their info you can get your email without look.
    -Incoming Mail Server(POP3): pop.att.yahoo.com
    -Outgoing Mail Server(SMTP): smtp.att.yahoo.com
    -Outgoing server (SMTP) requires password authentication
    -Incoming Mail Port#:995, secure connection(SSL) checked
    -Outgoing Mail Port#:465, secure connection(SSL) checked
